Restore your Emotional Resilience

& Equilibrium

- BACH FLOWER REMEDIES -

Simplicity in a Bottle

Bach Flower Remedies restore your emotional resilience, natural rhythm and harmony by supporting the whole person your deepest emotions and not the symptoms – A truly Holistic Approach.

These 38 Flower Remedies were developed by Dr Edward Bach in the 1930’s. Dr Bach believed that an individual’s emotional state plays an integral part in their dis-ease and prognosis, he realised early on in his medical career that treating the whole person was key and the way forward.

They work using the powerful yet subtle, energetic & vibrational properties of flowers & trees with our emotional state. For example you might choose 'Larch' if lacking in confidence, or 'Olive' to restore strength when feeling exhausted. Some of you may already be familiar with the world-famous 'Rescue Remedy' – offering a soothing and comforting effect in moments of crisis and emergency. Also perfect if feeling nervous before an interview or exam.

“So long as our Souls and Personalities are in Harmony all is

Joy & Peace, Happiness & Wealth”

Dr Edward Bach

"Treat the Person not the disease"

Tapping into Wellness couldn’t be simpler when using these Flower Remedies, Dr Bach was very clear on how to effectively identify which remedies are needed – “treat the person, not the disease”. Focus on the individual’s personality, their thoughts, feelings & moods. He spilt the 38 remedies into seven key emotional groups, it is helpful to explore not just the surface emotion but what motivation lies beneath as there can often be more than one remedy required.

Dr Bach believed we could all benefit from each of the 38 remedies at different times in our lives to keep us Balanced & in Harmony – with our true nature.

Below I outline the seven emotional groups and each of the 38 remedies for you to peruse and select. Simply consider how you have been currently feeling and be guided by the flowers. Please choose up to six and I will prepare and post your 21-day Personal Remedy.

SEVEN EMOTIONAL GROUPS -

FEAR

A primal emotion that serves as a warning signal against real or perceived dangers or threats. We can experience fear in many different ways like a tightening & tension in our stomach, increased heart rate & breathing, anxiety headaches, insomnia, a rush of the stress hormone cortisol. When these reactions take hold it can prove exhausting to try and keep fear at arm’s length. While essential for survival, fear can be problematic when it's out of proportion to the situation or left unresolved, leaving us completely off kilter.

Dr Bach identified five remedies to help you face your fears:

OVER-SENSITIVE TO INFLUENCES & IDEAS

I am reminded of a saying my grandmother always used 'Remember it's important that you learn to paddle your own canoe, to not be a sheep, don't follow the crowd'. As an only child, wanting desperately to fit in at school -

I didn't really get it!

Today, I still reflect on her words of wisdom.

Dr Bach phrased it in a similar way when he wrote about the importance of being 'captain of your own ship'. This is sometimes easier spoken about than practised. As life has a funny way of catching us off guard and we get caught up in the desire to meet expectations, to fit in and feel accepted by those around us, to not rock the boat- especially with our nearest & dearest and those we look up to . Following a pattern of these self sabotaging behaviours stops us living the life we deserve, stops us from truly connecting to our hopes & dreams, identifying with our real aspirations and soul's pathway.

Choose which of these four remedies will keep you safely 'paddling your own canoe':

CENTAURY

Positive quality – Develop a quiet inner strength allowing you to set healthy boundaries

OVER-CARE FOR THE WELFARE OF OTHERS

When we believe in something so passionately or care for someone so deeply, it can blind us to the force of our sheer determination and tunnelled vision approach. In our desire to make things better for all, we lose our equilibrium and the benefits of a more balanced approach. Our own unmet needs become tangled up in the process and we are at risk of being too controlling, ultimately causing more harm than good.

The five remedies selected by Dr Bach for this group will help to soften & smooth our harshness and sharp edges from our wounded hearts. Opening up a doorway to a more mutual, easier and collaborative journey:
